PRIVACY IN THE PREVIEW

Your words. Your control.

LetForth Life stores conversations, selected memories and extracted tasks/events with source messages, reminder schedules, job states, briefs and usage records for your account.

Memory and temporary conversations

Automatic memory starts enabled with an explanation in the conversation view. You can turn it off in Memory. When it is off, new personal memories are not saved and saved memories are not supplied to new AI requests. Temporary conversations remain in your history until you delete them; they do not create memories, journal entries or extracted tasks/events, or enter future Life Briefs.

Forgetting and deletion

Forget removes selected active memory, excludes its source conversation from future retrieval, removes tasks/events extracted from excluded source messages, clears derived briefs and invalidates dependent AI work. Source messages stay visible until you choose to delete the source conversation too. Deleting a conversation removes its messages and related memories from the active service. Backup copies may persist under the hosting provider’s retention cycle; immediate backup erasure is not promised.

Service providers

Supabase handles authentication and stored account data. Vercel hosts the application. OpenAI processes bounded conversation context and audio transcription; API requests ask not to store response objects, but provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply. Public web research may send generic search terms to search providers. Resend, when configured and opted in, processes your email address and reminder text. Stripe handles test checkout and billing details. LetForth does not receive full card details.

Photos and files

Files you add are stored privately with your account. Sending the message lets OpenAI process its attachments and recent attachments in that same conversation. File contents are not automatically turned into personal memories. Deleting the source conversation deletes its stored files from the active service. Unsent uploads expire on your next upload after 24 hours. Exports include authenticated download paths for saved files; those paths require your account session.

Voice and playback

Microphone access is requested only when you tap the microphone. Recordings stay on your device until you choose Use recording. You can play back or discard them first. Used recordings are sent for transcription and are not saved by LetForth. Review the transcript before sending it as a conversation message. Read aloud uses your browser or operating system’s speech service, which may process text remotely depending on the voice you select.

Guest access and exports

Guest data uses an anonymous account tied to this browser’s session. Clearing that session can make it unrecoverable. Creating an account from the same session preserves its account ID. Use Settings to export your Life records. Usage limits do not block reading, exporting or deleting.

Owner contact

A verified operator identity and privacy contact have not yet been supplied. These are required before commercial launch. The preview does not claim a privacy certification, a specific backup retention period or guaranteed recoverability.
